Second Quetta Property Expo: A Disappointing Flop Show Amidst Economic Crisis

Introduction:

The Second Quetta Property Expo, organized by the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry (PAEI), concluded on the 11th of June. However, unlike its previous edition in 2022, this year’s event failed to attract major real estate players and witnessed a significant decline in sales. The prevailing economic conditions, coupled with the absence of prominent participants like DHA Quetta, made the expo a lackluster affair. J7 Signature Group was among the few present, but even they failed to capture customer attention. The overall response was underwhelming, leaving attendees and potential buyers disappointed.

No Major Real Estate Players:

The most glaring flaw in this year’s Quetta Property Expo was the absence of major real estate players. Last year’s event showcased a vibrant and successful expo, attracting renowned developers like DHA Bahawalpur and DHA Multan. However, this time around, the lack of participation from DHA Quetta and other significant players was striking. Without their presence, the expo lost its charm and failed to generate substantial customer interest.

Limited Customer Attraction:

The absence of reputable developers directly impacted the overall attraction of the expo. Park View City, Sky Marketing, and a few local projects were present at the event, but their stalls failed to entice potential buyers. With no DHA enclosures to capture attention, customers were left disappointed. Last year, DHA Bahawalpur alone managed to sell over 25,000 forms, while DHA Multan achieved a respectable 12,000 forms sold. This year, however, the lack of customer attraction resulted in low sales and an overall disheartening experience.

Empty Stalls and Lackluster Sales:

One couldn’t help but notice the emptiness in various sections of the expo. Stalls remained unoccupied, giving the impression of a half-hearted effort by the organizers. The poor turnout of both developers and visitors contributed to the desolate atmosphere. The economic crisis that plagued the country this year further dampened the already subdued spirits, leading to an underwhelming event.

Conclusion:

The Second Quetta Property Expo organized by PAEI this year was a far cry from its previous successful edition. The absence of major real estate players, particularly DHA Quetta, played a pivotal role in the expo’s lackluster performance. With limited customer attraction, poor sales, and empty stalls, the event failed to provide the promised platform for real estate enthusiasts and potential buyers. Considering the economic conditions and the disappointing turnout, it is clear that the Second Quetta Property Expo fell short of expectations and left attendees disheartened.
